IBNC Management Profile:

Koorosh Arfaian:     Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer.  Mr. Arfaian has a diverse background in architecture, information technology, renewable energy, and Project management. He has founded several successful businesses in U.S. and overseas. He founded IBNC in 1991 and growing it to $6M in annual sales within its first three years. He later expanded the company into IT consulting and Internet service-provider (ISP) businesses market. Mr. Arfaian is also founder of Arfaian Architects LLC, a Bethesda, MD-based firm that focused sustainable building design and  ‘green’ technologies. At Arfaian Architects, he designed and managed several large-scale projects in the UAE as well as in the U.S. Previously; Mr. Arfaian had been Chairman and CEO of Perseid Solar Inc. a Solar Energy Company that he cofounded in 2008.. A licensed architect in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia, Mr. Arfaian began his career working for world-famous architect Amanat; upon relocating to the U.S. in 1983, he joined Architrave Architects in Washington, DC, where he designed and managed many large residential and government projects. Mr. Arfaian graduated with honors from Tehran University in Iran with a Masters degree in Architecture in 1976.

Nezam Ghasemian:    VP of Engineering and Project Management specializing in building high-end single family homes. Mr. Ghasemian has extensive operations and management experience in large engineering and commercial real estate firms. Most recently, he was Vice President at MACTEC Engineering, a leading national engineering consulting firm. In this role, Mr. Ghasemian was responsible for operations in the Northeast region, which included 150 employees in four offices. Before that, he was a Vice President at Transwestern, where he managed large-scale commercial real estate portfolios. Early in his career, Nezam practiced structural engineering at county and state level government agencies. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin, and is a registered professional engineer in Wisconsin, Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia.

Farzad Ferdowsi:    VP of Design and Development.   Mr. Ferdowsi has over thirty years of experience in the field of architecture and project management, having undertaken many internationally acclaimed architectural and construction projects in the United States and Canada as well as overseas, in such countries as Iran, Western Samoa and China. His experience encompasses the entire scope of the project management process, from inception through planning, design, construction and project close-out. Mr. Ferdowsi has also been engaged in heavy highway and road construction management and has completed many governmental projects in Virginia and Maryland. Having familiarity with its local language, he has traveled to Afghanistan to survey collaborative possibilities with local contractors, foreign organizations as well as investors, and is continuing his efforts in this as well as in other developing regions, including Iraq and Sub-Saharan Africa.
